Ajabu Tours was created by the founder of the Twawebwa Mukama Foundation together with a Ugandan friend: a tourism-graduate who participates in all the tour operator’s activities. The Twawebwa Mukama foundation has been active for many years in education projects and poverty-relief endeavours. It supports the local community by building schools, a guesthouse and water tanks at a project in the Buhweju district. To promote self-sufficiency, the Foundation has established a new forestry industry, employing locals who sell the wood to the local tea factory for firewood (used to dry the tea).

Creating jobs is one of the key solutions to solve the poverty in Uganda and its related problems. Tourism is one of the most promising possibilities to encourage employment growth.

Nature in Uganda is undoubtedly worth your admiration. Ajabu Tours wants to accompany you.
