14-days trip Murchison falls, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi


 

1st day: Arrival at the airport and transfer to a hotel. You will meet your guide, who will inform you about the trip.

2nd day: After early breakfast you go to Murchison Park via ZIWA Rhino Sanctuary. You will continue your journey to the Murchison Park and go to your lodge in the park.

3rd day: You leave for a boat trip to the lower part of the falls. You will be able to hike to the top of the falls. After this you return to the lodge where you can have a rest and dinner.

4th day: After an early breakfast you will go for a morning game drive. After this game drive you will go back to your lodge to have lunch and a rest. A second game drive is possible in the late afternoon.

5th day: You will drive off to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal, where you can enjoy your evening and dinner while relaxing at the lodge.

6th day: Chimp-tracking early in the morning, guided by a professional ranger. You will meet more primates and many birds in this forest. Afterwards you will have lunch, go for another swamp walk or relax in the lodge, where you also will stay this night.

7th day: Visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After arrival and luggage check-in, you leave for a visit to the Katwe Salt Lake. After this visit you return to your lodge where you can enjoy the view while having your dinner.

8th day: After breakfast you go for a game drive. You will have lunch at the lodge and will leave for a boat trip in the afternoon. After this Ajabu (awesome) boat trip, you will return to the lodge and have a sunset dinner and a bonfire.

9th day: Departure for a trip to Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions and other animals. You will have a packed lunch with you and a ranger will guide you to interesting places. Your exciting day will end in a lodge close to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

10th day: After an early breakfast, you set off on an intensive gorilla-quest. It can be a long journey because it is not always known where the gorillas are. A guide will tell you about your behaviour in the rain forest, near and around the gorillas. Once you have found them you will spend an hour with them. You will return to your lodge for dinner.

11th day: Early departure to Lake Mburo National Park, where you can spend a relaxed evening and sleep in a lodge in the park.

12th day: After breakfast you will embark on a boat ride on Lake Mburo. This is the only park where visitors are not largely restricted to vehicles or guides. Rather refreshing!! Overnight at the lodge in the park.

13th day: Transfer to Kampala via Masaka with a stopover at the equator for photo-opportunities and souvenir shopping. Then off to a hotel in Kampala.

14th day: Depending on your departure time, enjoy a relaxing time before flying out of Uganda.
