Daily program

Day 1
Arrival day. We pick you up at the airport in Entebbe and then transfer you to Grand Global Hotel in Kampala.

Day 2
We will be leaving Kampala early in the morning to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and then we will continue to Gulu where we will visit an orphanage and a market.

Day 3
Today we are driving from Gulu to Kidepo National Park. After lunch and a game drive in the park we will have the Karamojong community experience drive.

Day 4
Whole day safari in Kidepo National Park in the Apoka area of the park. Here we hope to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and many more. 

Day 5
Early morning game drive in Kidepo National Park where we will be going to the ostriches towards the South Sudanese boarder. 

Day 6
Early morning departure from Kidepo National Park. We will stop for lunch in Gulu, and we will be reaching Murchison Falls in time for an afternoon game drive.

Day 7
Today we will go on a morning game drive. Lunch will be enjoyed in Paraa, followed by a stunning boat trip. After that we will go trekking to the Murchison Falls.

Day 8
We are going on chimpanzee trekking in Budongo today. After this amazing experience we drive to Kibale Forest Camp with a stop for lunch in Hoima.

Day 9
Early morning departure from Kibale Forest Camp, allowing time to see the colobus monkeys. We will enjoy lunch at Mweya Lodge before we go on a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. After this we will see the crater lakes of the area. 

Day 10
We start the day with an early game drive in Kasenyi planes in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will make a short break in Kitagata hot springs. Then lunch is served and we will continue to Rujija.

Day 11
It’s time for the amazing gorilla trekking in Ruhija which will be followed up with a community experience. The time of the gorilla trekking cannot be estimated since the gorilla families continuously move around the forest in order to find food, so we recommend decent footwear and a bit of patience. 

Day 12
We are driving from Ruhija to Entebbe with a stop for lunch at Arcadia Lodge in Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 13
After breakfast we will go look for the shoebill in the Mabamba Swamps. We will have an early lunch at restaurant Two Friends in Entebbe before departing for the airport.
