Entebbe

Entebbe is a town in Central Uganda, and it is where the Ugandan airport is located. However Entebbe is so much more, than just a quick stop to the airport. The town is surrounding a part of Lake Victoria, which is the second largest freshwater lake in the world. Here you can choose to lay on the sandy beaches on the shore or you can take a boat trip on the lake, both in daylight and during the evening to a beautiful sunset cruise. You can also try out your fishing abilities, or take a boat trip to Ngamba island and experience the chimpanzee sanctuary.

On land you can discover Entebbes botanical gardens, which are perfect for a leisurely stroll. Here you will be able to see plenty of monkeys, and you can take a turn on the tarzan swing, which allegedly is where one of the tarzan movies were filmed.

You can also visit the Ugandan wildlife education center, which primarily functions as a zoo, but it is actually a world class animal refugee center, which take in injured animals, and keep them until they are recovered.

Entebbe have a lot to offer!
