Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Uganda and the second largest freshwater lake in the world, however it is the world’s largest tropical lake.
It borders, not only to Uganda, but also Tanzania and Kenya.
You will be able to find many small islands in Lake Victoria, some are private and some includes hotels for staying visitors. You will also be able to find the famous Ssese Islands, with beautiful white sand beaches, and Ngamba island where a chimpanzee sanctuary is located.
You can also try a sunset cruise or a fishing excursion and for the advanced you can chose a overnight ‘freshwater game fish’.
On the shore of Lake Victoria, you can see the many fisherman villages, where you can visit and interact with the local people.
You will also be able to find the National Botanical Garden in Entebbe on the shore to Lake Victoria.
